What to pack for my overnight trip to NYC in February

I'm headed to New York on Saturday for an overnight trip to celebrate the wedding anniversary of good friends, and first things first, I checked out the location of the event to gauge the vibes. The place's vibe helps me create a look that matches. Certain restaurants are more upscale and require a different look, while others have more relaxed vibes where casual dress fits. I have determined that I want to be comfortable yet make a statement, so what to pack for my overnight trip to NYC? You already know I'm in the mirror trying on clothes and taking selfies. I'm just saying 🤷♀️ 😂.
We plan to leave early Saturday morning, so I can check out a few boutiques and hang out in the city before the event later in the evening. Here is where my packing checklist comes into play. First, comfortable shoes; a pair for the day out walking and a heel for the evening. Currently, my go-to favorites are, of course, my Zara sock boots or my Balenciaga sock sneakers. The second thing is a small, cute purse that offers crossbody and handheld carrying options. This purse selection allows for an easy transition if you have evening plans without having to pack multiple handbags. A warm plush coat is a must, so you already know I'm reaching for my cream Banana Republic Sherpa, a beanie hat, and my fingerless ugg gloves. It doesn't have to be complicated, but it does have to be cute 😉.
